Military History Center

112 N Main St • 918-794-2712 • Website

The City of Broken Arrow offered the Center’s current location on Main Street in the Rose District as a permanent home for a collection assembled by Col. Robert W. Powell in 2012. On November 11, 2014, the Center celebrated its first anniversary in its current location. Today, the collection has grown and is open to all who are interested in learning more about our nation’s military history.

Each artifact in the collection holds the story of the person who used it in combat or in service of our nation, making it a hub of patriotism in Broken Arrow. Come visit and experience the rich history and honor of our military. Please note that the Center is closed on Sundays, Mondays, and major Federal Holidays, but open on Mondays during the summer months. Admission is $5.00 for adults, while members and children under 18 get in for free.

The Military History Center also now offers a drop box to retire worn or tattered flags. They will properly dispose of the flags in accordance with the United States Code Title 4 Chapter 1, Section 8(k).
