Visit Broken Arrow Events & Conferences
Rebate Information
The goal of the Visit Broken Arrow Rebate is to assist events and conferences that Visit Broken Arrow believes have the potential to grow substantially and generate overnight lodging accommodations in Broken Arrow. Visit Broken Arrow has funding available that has been earmarked for the marketing of events exhibiting positive tourism potential to the Broken Arrow area. Please note that the Visit Broken Arrow rebate will not be the sole source of funding for any event or conference. It is expected that the organizer has also secured additional funding for the event. A minimum of twelve (12) overnight accommodations in Broken Arrow hotels is required per $500 of funding requested. All approved rebates are provided on a reimbursable basis, once the required follow-up report and accompanying documents have been received. Rebate applications must be submitted 90 days before the first day of the event.

**Please also submit a completed W9 Form and detailed event budget with your application.
The Post Event Summary Form is due no later than 60 days after the final day of your event. Failure to submit this summary on time will jeopardize your organization’s ability to receive future Visit Broken Arrow funding and receive reimbursement. It is the event organizer’s responsibility to adhere to the application and post-event summary deadlines. No reminders will be sent!
Visit Broken Arrow Sponsorship Program
Visit Broken Arrow has set aside funding for the marketing of events encouraging, promoting, and fostering leisure, culture, and tourism in Broken Arrow. The purpose of this sponsorship program is to market Broken Arrow as a tourist destination and ultimately generate overnight stays. The Post-Event Summary form must be submitted within 60 days after the event.
The Visit Broken Arrow sponsorship is not a source of permanent funding, nor should Visit Broken Arrow sponsorship funding be the sole basis of whether an event happens or not. Submitting a sponsorship application does not guarantee sponsorship funding. The event organizer is expected to secure additional funding for the event. Meetings and events that become regular or annual events should develop a sponsorship base and grow to no longer need Visit Broken Arrow funding assistance. Visit Broken Arrow funds will be provided only on a reimbursable basis as supported by approved expenditure documents provided in this required follow-up report. Event sponsors must schedule attendance to a Visit Broken Arrow meeting to present the Post-Event Summary Report, upon which the Visit Broken Arrow Board will vote on funds to be awarded.
