Public Private Partnership for Sunset Amphitheater Downtown Master Plan creating The Rose District

2018 General Obligations Bond - $200 million

  • Elam Park
  • The Brown-Kimbrough Center for Arts, Innovation and
    Creativity – Publicly funded art center for art classes
    catering to all ages
  • Senior Center – new state of the art facility
  • Veteran’s Center – Public banquet hall and offices for local
    Veteran group chapters
  • Youth facilities – Shade structures at outdoor fields, turf
    soccer fields, turf football fields, etc.

Road Improvements:

  • Aspen from Tucson to Shreveport (1.5 miles) – 2 lane road,
    widening to 5 lanes. Project also includes intersection
    improvements at Aspen/Tucson & Aspen/Jasper
  • OTA is planning bridge improvements to the turnpike running
    through that area
  • New Orleans from Olive to Garnett
  • Garnett from Washington to New Orleans – Tulsa County
